Overview
FL 26BW is the latest addition to the Tucsen’s new generation of deep cooled cameras. It incorporates Sony’s latest back-illuminated CMOS detector and combines advanced cooling sealing technology and image noise reduction technology from Tucsen. While achieving deep-cooling CCD-level performance in ultra long exposures, it comprehensively surpasses typical CCDs in terms of field of view (1.8 inches), speed, dynamic range, and other performance aspects. It can fully replace cooled CCDs in long exposure applications and also has broad prospects for applications in advanced microscopy imaging and industrial inspection.
Long Exposure Imaging
FL 26BW has a low dark current of just 0.0005 e-/p/s, and the chip cooling temperature can be locked down to -25℃. Even during exposures as long as 30 minutes, its imaging performance (signal-to-noise ratio) remains superior to typical deep-cooled CCDs (ICX695).
Better Quantitative Capability
FL 26BW integrates Sony's latest back-illuminated chip with excellent glare suppression capability, along with Tucsen's advanced image noise reduction processing technology. This combination effectively eliminates adverse factors such as corner glare and bad pixels, ensuring uniform imaging background, making it more suitable for quantitative analysis applications.
Latest BSI CMOS Technology
FL 26BW utilizes Sony's new generation back-illuminated scientific CMOS detector, showing long-exposure performance comparable to CCD cameras. With a peak quantum efficiency of up to 92% and readout noise as low as 0.9 e-, its low light imaging capability surpasses CCDs, while its dynamic range exceeds traditional CCD cameras by more than four times.
