The camera itself works well although I was surprised that when the camera was mounted straight on an Amscope SM4, the image was at a slight angle compared to the eyepiece view, meaning that the camera needed to be mounted with a slight turn. This was no problem to do but looks slightly strange.

At first I thought the frame rate was low 3-5fps, but it just needed the default settings for exposure and gain adjusting in the ToupView software to give a good frame rate for video 25fps.

All in all I am very happy with both the product and the service from Specialist Cameras International.

It has been a great pleasure to deal with specialist cameras international, and the fact that they provide this superb camera in the UK has been a wonderful thing for me. They got the camera very quickly, kept in contact throughout, and sent it to me within days. Having only used it twice in the last period because of the weather, I can still assure everyone that the sensor on this thing, and how quickly it cools down, are phenomenal. Not only does this give me a wider field of view on my various telescopes, but using it on my f2 RASA scope has been a wonder! Everything that people say about the IMX 571 sensor is proving to be true, and I fully recommend both this camera, Touptek who make it, and specialist cameras international, themselves. 6 stars!! Thanks for the invitation to review and for processing our our PO so quickly. We use four of these with the 0.6x magnfication C-Mount adaptors. The software is easy to use and the image detail is great. We are checking for solder fractures which are easy to see on the monitor.
